The terms and conditions governing your use of Firevault services.

Last Updated: 18/03/2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Firevault services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

2. Service Description

Firevault provides offline secure storage solutions for digital assets. Our services include:

  • Personal vault storage (Vault, Vault Pro, Vault 360)
  • Enterprise storage solutions
  • Platform infrastructure for organisations
  • Digital succession planning tools

3. Identity Verification and Access

All Firevault accounts are subject to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification. Access to your vault requires multi-factor authentication (MFA). As a Firevault user, you are responsible for:

  • Completing KYC and AML verification during account setup
  • Maintaining the security of your MFA credentials and devices
  • Ensuring all data stored complies with applicable laws
  • Providing accurate identity information for verification
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access attempts

4. Subscription and Payment

Firevault services require a minimum three-year commitment. Payment terms, pricing, and renewal conditions will be specified in your individual service agreement. If no termination notice is provided 90 days before the end of the term, your contract will automatically extend by 12 months.

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data stored in your Firevault. We have no claim to your data and no technical ability to access your encrypted vault contents.

6. Prohibited Use

Users are prohibited from storing illegal content, cybercrime tools, data violating national security laws, stolen or fraudulent information, or weapons-related schematics. Any violation will result in immediate termination and, where legally required, reporting to the relevant authorities.

7. Limitation of Liability

Firevault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services. If a vault is seized under a legally binding UK High Court order, Firevault is not responsible for data loss or integrity during the investigation process.

8. Termination and Exit

At the end of your commitment term, Firevault will securely send your storage device to your nominated address via secure courier, at your cost. If the vault is not claimed within the designated period, Firevault reserves the right to securely decommission the storage device. All outstanding balances must be settled in full upon termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will first be handled via arbitration before formal legal proceedings.
